1. What we collect
When you sign up we collect your name, business name, mobile number, email, trade(s), service area and the job size you want to bid on. When you reply to a match we record your reply so we can send the right bid pack.
2. How we use it
- To match you with public tenders that fit your trade and area.
- To send you SMS alerts and the bid pack on reply.
- To pre-fill cover letters and HASP paperwork in your bid pack.
- To bill you, support you and improve the service.
3. SMS messaging
By giving us your mobile number you consent to receiving SMS messages from Mercura Scout for tender alerts and account messages. We do not send marketing texts. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. See our messaging terms for the full SMS policy.
4. Who we share with
We share data only with the service providers that help us run Scout — for example our SMS carrier, email provider, hosting provider and payment processor. We do not sell your data. We do not give your data to other contractors.
5. Public tender data
Tender details we surface come from publicly available sources. We do not control the content of those listings.
6. Security
Your account is protected by industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure — if we discover a breach affecting you we will let you know promptly.
7. Retention
We keep account data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting and legal reasons. You can request deletion at any time.
8. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Texas residents have additional rights under applicable Texas law. Email us to make a request.
9. Children
Scout is for businesses and not directed at anyone under 18.

We'll post any updates to this page and, where the change is significant, notify you by email or SMS.
