How it works
Where does Scout get tender data?+
We monitor public tender boards across Texas — state, counties, cities, school districts, utility districts and authorities — anywhere contracts are listed publicly.
How does Scout know what fits my trade?+
On sign-up you tell us your trade(s), service area and the job size you're willing to bid. Scout only texts you when all three match.
How quickly do alerts arrive?+
Most matches text you within an hour of being published. From your YES reply to the bid pack landing in your inbox is around 30 seconds.
The bid pack
What's actually in a bid pack?+
The tender details, your HASP documents, insurance confirmations, and a pre-filled cover letter addressed to the buyer listed on the tender.
Do you submit the bid for me?+
No — you stay in control. You forward the bid pack to the buyer or upload it to the portal yourself. Scout handles the work of finding and preparing.
Can I customise the documents?+
Yes. You upload your HASP, insurance and company info once. We use that on every pack and you can update it any time.
SMS & privacy
Will I get spam texts?+
Only tender matches and account messages. No marketing. Reply STOP at any time to stop messages immediately.
Message and data rates?+
Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. See our messaging terms for full details.
Billing
How much does it cost?+
$99/month for founding members (first 50 only), $199/month after. No contract, cancel any month.
What if Scout doesn't find me work?+
Cancel any month and pay nothing further. We'd rather you leave honest than stay frustrated.
